STEEL CITY SMOOTH JAZZ FEST NEED TO KNOW INFORMATION


Welcome to the 2025 Steel City Smooth Jazz Fest! We want to thank you for joining us for the “LIVE IN 25” festival. We are looking forward to sharing a fun-filled and safe experience with you. Our goal is to offer you the best experience, which requires certain rules/guidelines to keep everyone safe and secure.  We’ve provided a list of rules/guidelines as well as a list of items to bring that will enhance your experience. We’ve also included a list of prohibited items that will not be allowed at the event.  Please read this very important information carefully so that you’re fully prepared to enjoy yourself!

RULES/GUIDELINES


What To Bring:


  • Your Ticket
  • ID
  • Cell Phone
  • Hat, Sunglasses, Sunscreen, Blanket/Towel, Binoculars, Rain Jacket, Rain Puncho
  • One clear gag per person which should not exceed 12” X 6” X 12”. This is the “Approved Stadium size bag and can be substituted with a plastic bag such as a gallon-sized Ziplock bag or a small purse or wristlet
  • One small umbrella. Must be collapsible and no more than 18” wide. Oher than to protect you should there be rain, umbrellas will ONLY be used  for shade between set changes. Umbrellas must come down during performances to prevent blocking the view of others in the rear of you.



What Not To Bring:


  • NO WEAPONS OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING GUNS, EXPLOSIVES, POCKET KNIVES, PEPPER SPRAY, etc. Alabama has not legalized the use of Marijuana, therefore Drugs of any kind and Drug Paraphernalia will not be tolerated. Police Officers will be patrolling the park  and all Alabama Narcotic Laws will be strictly enforced
  • You will not be allowed to bring Alcoholic Beverages into the park; however, you may purchase Alcoholic Beverages inside the Venue
  • No sharing of wristbands. If you leave the Venue, you must return with your wristband on your arm as there will be no exceptions for replacements. Wristbands must be worn on the wrist and not used as a necklace or attached to other objects
  • NO COOLERS WILL BE PERMITTED (Vendors will be onsite to offer a variety of foods, culinary delectables and drinks)
  • NO ITEMS WITH WHEELS WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE VENUE, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF WHEELCHAIRS OR ROLLATERS FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITY.  NO WHEELS POLICY INCLUDE: Wagons, Rolling Carts, Backpacks, Luggage, Strollers, Coolers, Buggies, etc.
  • No Tents or Large Umbrellas
  • No High-back Chairs
  • No Flags or Banners
  • No Aerosol Sprays of any kind
  • No Musical Instruments
  • No Cameras or Video Recording Equipment allowed except for Cell Phones
  • No Drones or Flying Objects
  • No Laser Pointers
  • No Unauthorized Vendors
  • No Unauthorized Solicitations of any kind
  • No pets will be allowed
